Liberty University Bachelor's Program Overview
Liberty University is a nonprofit Christian institution where students are encouraged to grow spirituality and intellectually. Professors at Liberty incorporate biblical principles into instruction and no more than 25 students are enrolled in each class. All faculty have either have a master's or doctorate degree. Liberty University is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. About 50 online bachelor's degree programs are offered at Liberty, including psychology, business administration, early childhood education, political science and information technology. For students interested in a faith-based degree, the school offers bachelor's programs in biblical and educational studies, Christian leadership and management, and religion. Most bachelor's degrees can be earned entirely online; however, a few programs may require participation in short-term intensives at the school's residential campus in Lynchburg, Va. Some students may be able to earn credit through prior learning and experience. Classes are recorded and archived for students to view at their convenience. Academic advising, career services and live tutoring are available. Additionally, students can receive assistance and feedback on written work through the school's Online Writing Center. The school also provides online communities where students can chat with fellow students and watch live streams of weekly convocation services.
