Graduate Business Program Overview

Webster University was founded as a traditional brick-and-mortar school in the early 1900s in St. Louis, Missouri, where the school's home campus is still based. In addition to taking classes virtually, online students at Webster can take classes at one of Webster's physical locations in more than 23 states and five countries. Webster University is a nonprofit institution that is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission, a regional accrediting body. Nearly 10 graduate business degrees can be earned entirely online through Webster, including master's degrees in human resources management, information technology management and finance. Webster's business and management degree programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, a recognized accrediting body. Courses at Webster University follow a structured, week-by-week format. Course work generally includes readings, discussions, assignments, simulations and assessments. Some class work may require students to work together online. Courses are offered in nine-week terms, five times throughout the year. Webster University offers online students academic advising, peer tutoring, virtual library materials and an online writing center.
